TEC Governor Quinn, University Officials and Community representatives recently broke ground on the new Transportation Education Center Project. This $63 million dollar initiative will construct three new buildings at the Airport to house University's Nationally Renowned Aviation and Automotive Degree Programs. Classrooms, Labs, Simulator areas and Engine Test Cells will comprise the core of the new buildings. The daily population of the Airport will increase by an additional 150 students and staff.

A new live webcam of the TEC construction site is available at http://www.transportation.siuc.edu/webcam/. Check it out!
